Special Sauce

A mish-mash of twisted thoughts from a fevered ego. Updated when the spirit moves me, contents vary and may have settled during shipping. Do not open towards eyes. Caution: Ingestion of Special Sauce may cause hair loss, halitosis, and a burning sensation while urinating.

One of the first cemetery pictures I ever took, in my old hometown, in the cemetery my grandparents (mom's) are buried. I love this stone.

If they bury me (which, to be honest, I couldn't care less about) then it would be nice to have a stone like this. Very secular. I wonder what the scroll says.

It's really neat, and very grey, even in real life (and not just my b/w pic) The scroll reads Ida, wife of William Moore, and her birth/death dates.

There's one I've seen here that marks a fairly important Civil War officer's grave. It is a shorter tree stump, an oak (with oak leaves around the top) in a bronze/brown-y concrete, that is also beautiful. It's the only tree one I've seen in color. I'll see if I can find the picture tonight.
